Anyone know V12V FJ13 GNU at Stratstone Derby?
Discussion
I have been thinking of joining the V12V fold for some time, and think this is my perfect spec. (Maybe I'd prefer alcantara on the seat inserts but leather is fine.)
Does anyone know its history?

Thanks!

I cannot help with the Stratstone car, but if you are looking for a nice V12 manual then have a look at this.

Thanks for the link. I'm after a garmin car and I think that means 2013+.
Also not a fan of alcantara on the steering wheel, which I'd assume would be prohibitively expensing to change.
Steering wheels can be refurbed relatively inexpensively, couple of hundred quid or less I believe. A friend has used the following company for a wheel on a 993 Porka, plus they've had positive reviews on other forums on PH. No affiliation BTW.Also not a fan of alcantara on the steering wheel, which I'd assume would be prohibitively expensing to change.

Alternatively, get a 2009 or 2010 car, buy a superior TomTom with lifetime updates for £150 and save £20k for what is effectively the same car.
Certainly between a 2010MY and a 2012MY the satnav was about it. Other options became available later on such as the normal Pzero tyre and waterfall finish, but those are retro-fittable to an earlier car anyway. Someone as knowledgable as Grant would need to confirm about 2013 V12V differences, if any, but I'd wager it's negligible.
Hi, I'll check what details are on my register for the Derby car and let you know. The garmin navs were updated from around vin 0600. These latter cars also had an updated clutch which earlier cars may have had changed under warranty. Earlier clutches had a rattle somewhere which didn't affect the drive but was just annoying. Plus the newer clutches had updated software.
I'll be in touch.

I think I can help here as I've seen the car, driven it and even met the owner. He had owned it from new and traded it in when he bought his new V12VS manual so he was obviously quite happy with V12V ownership. I think it has been serviced by Derby throughout and he has done European trips in it.
The car drives like all the V12V I've driven, beautifully. I had a moderately close look at it and the only significant defect I found was a minor scuff on (I think) the NS front wheel which would need a light refurb (may already have been done as car wasn't prepped when I saw it). It hasn't had full frontal paint protection film on but I didn't see any major stone chips but that would obviously need a close look. No paint bubbling
. Needs some glass switches IMHO and I'm sure you could incorporate that into the deal. I would put a CF ski slope on too as Piano Black is a PITA.
I know Stratstone sometimes get a hard time on here but I only have good things to say about AM Derby. Good guys in sales and service who have looked after me very well in my last 3 years of ownership. I have no affiliation BTW but am just a happy customer.
2013 MY was when they got the auto lights and wipers I think but I could be wrong. Ceramic Grey is obviously far better than black
. Your perfect spec doesn't come along very often so I say go get it and enjoy.

No it doesn't because it's a 2012 registered 2011 MY so has the Volvo unit. Worse still it doesn't have Premium Audio
Really Pete? Are you sure as its a Carbon Black so they all had the premium audio. Mine is March12 and its got Garmin.

Very strange , but the AM adds are always wrong. Piano black is standard not an option on the CB. I am surprised about the sat nav though.
Agree that the adverts are often wrong. It also says the Lightweight seats are standard and an option - WTF?I'm sure the sat nav is because it is a 2011 MY that has sat around for a year before being registered.

Just to add to what V8V Pete has said, yes one owner car - no S01276, registered in June 2013 so one of the last of the manuals - i only have around 20 or so later cars than this. Also very rare in ceramic grey as this was a new colour for V12V's around this time. I have only 6 UK cars this colour so far.Does anyone know its history?
Thanks!

Lightweight seats are also very rare on the latter cars.

This car is S00806, so has the updated clutch and garmin nav. Lightweight/alcantara seats but only the basic 160w sound system - who cares - never listen to my 700w as the engine/exhaust is all the noise I need!May be a two owner car as I have two reg's for this car.
