I've had this system on the 520 for years. Full article on www.tvrbooks.co.uk. Tower View fitted all the sensors. Set up is time consuming and is very much driver dependent.
You don't gain power (quite the reverse as it is designed to reduce it automatically). It doesn't change the laws of physics so if you are going too fast into a corner... it will do nothing for you. It is no substitute for learning to drive correctly.
It does tame the beast and help when things start to go wrong.

Best bet is not to fit the racelogic, go for the current emerald .. gets you ampped fuelling and ignition and traction control on the latest software release. bargain of the century. makes hte racelogic look poor value in comparison even though the RL tc is the industry standard and very complex .. that's part of it's downfall in that you get so bogged down getting it fine tuned I get bored before Ive finished doing it .. and you dont get any power advantage, you would with the emerld route 
Not concerned with power, just would like it when commuting, etc, wet roads, don't want a moments blip on the throttle to become life threatening.
Scariest ever moment, mid wide long bend, keeping up with traffic spead, bit damp, hit a slight bump, blipped throttle because of it, VERY waywood back end, acrooss white lines (incoming would have been hit badly)

What does the installation consist of, what other mods are necessary, limitations, cost?
I was under the impression that Emerald was purely an engine management system - obviously I'm a bit out of touch!!
I'll tell you as soon as i know myself.
all the emeralds for the last 2+years have the capability, we've just been waiting for the software to drive it.
I should be fitting an Emerald system on my Cerbera very soon so should be in a good position for a blow by blow comparison... however still waiting for Emerald to tell me what sensors they expect so I can get the installation sorted out. Must give them a chase again.
The Racelogic system is dedicated to TC and is pretty sophiosticated which can mean that some have difficulty setting it up. On the other hand the flexibility allows you to set it up for your car/ circuit/conditions. I download several different mapping depending on these factors.
Don't know how the Emerald system functions so can't comment yet on how they would compare.

Looked at Emerald as Dave is close to me but the software is not there yet, as they had not sorted out the software drivers. Would have gone 3DK set up but Dave was honest enough to say that they had not perfected it yet.
Racelogic were the provider of choice therefore.
Scole Engineering (Nr Diss on the Suffolk/Norfolk border) fitted it and whilst they said it was not hassle free the results really made their techy guy smile (and apparently have a bad neck) from the playing around.
I have some piccies from underneath butt none of the install inside. Will take some and post them.
