Inspired by all the 'I've just bought a D70' and 'Which compact digital camera?' threads, I've gone and acquired a darkroom kit!

It also came with an enlarger timer thingy that unfortunatly didn't come with instructions. Being a real man I didn't let this put me off and tried to figure ut out myslef. That didn't work as there are 5 buttons, a dial, an LED display and a light sensor - couldn't even work out what the labels did.

Not wanting to waste a valuable piece of equipment I sent an email to Jobo (the company that made it) and asked nicely where I could get a copy of the instruction book from, fully expecting to pay a few pound for it. Imagine my surprise when they said they would send me the manual for free from Germany!

It's nice to get decent customer service for a change

Darkroom.

Darkroom?

I give up :-)

Isn't it nice when companies go out of their way to be helpful! I got a free toilet seat last month, but that's another story...

Sorry I couldn't locate that bit Nige! But excellent news that those Jobo people came up with the goods!

Simpo - you've read Pratchet, haven't you? A darkroom is a bit like that thingy with the little people that make the images.......
