Is this the stuff that got seized from some guy who did not pay his tax? If so it must have been one hell of a tax demand!

Rumours of €35million owed to banks and €60million to the tax man.

Flipping amazing collection and enough to flood the market and cause the market bubble to burst?! whistle

Would you be brave enough to buy something? What if the guy was 'mafiosi' and when he got out of clink came round to your house asking for it back? . . . . . . . . . .

There are dozens of cars i'd happily buy, plus loads of other items!

Sadly I don't have the budget, but I do plan on going there to have a look biggrin

Some of the estimates.....
€15-20000 for a Pantera?

This will affect the market with this many cars. All the usual Porsches, E types, etc.

Best get a flight booked to Milano.

Will be interesting to see what that Pantera sells for. Nowhere near €20.000, I'm sure of that. It's a factory GT5, and they are selling for roughly €200K. That car is in rough shape so someone may get a good deal, but it won't go for €20K

(and if it does, I'll be slitting my wrists for having let that opportunity escape!!)

But the point is with such a huge "dumping" or cars (all at no reserve) there will be some real bargains..
Perhaps enough to cause bursting of the bubble that everyone keeps predicting?
Dunno.....

Luigi Compiano's Collection.

Great taste in cars.

The estimates are ok on some and miles out on others.

10-12K EUR for a 1971 911 2.2 S? yeah right..

Is it though? Take E types as an example, the buyers for a flat floor 3.8 are different to V12 buyers, I don't see it as a massive market flood.

Still got the Swordsman?

Right, I will have the Bentley R Type FHC please, if someone could kindly buy that, restore it and deliver to my drive that would be just great. http://rmsothebys.com/tv16/duemila-ruote/lots/1954...
If you are feeling especially generous I will also take all of the old Alfa's and the majority of the Lancia's but only if you could throw in a few Maseratis.

I'd help drive them back! Bet the DK Engineering boys will be over there like a shot.

Although it's an "interesting" line of business he was in, "Treviso Luigi Compiano, former owner of the group specializing in night surveillance and transportation", Hmmm.

The March F1 car looks good to me. Where else could you get something like that for the estimated value?
