Saw it in Geneva at the weekend. You'll like it too Rich. My first thought when I saw it was "yes, I'll take delivery of that". Those front intakes don't look at all goofy in the flesh, and I prefer the lines of the spider to the coupe. Problem is, you have to wonder if the reason you like it is because it's so similar to a 360 spider. Even though they've changed a lot of stuff, you can see the 360 everywhere- same doors, same roof mechanism, same packaging, namely the expensive bits. I reckon they've done just enough (ie put in a bigger engine) to call it a new model rather than a 360Modificato.

Chers Kev,

spoke to Ali today, wish he had let me know, I would have popped over.

Kevin, could you really part with your magnificent CS for a 430 Spider?

If the CS doesnt go soon, it will become a depreciation monster.

I know we dont buy these cars for the money... but it has to play a part at some point unless they are keepers.

430 Spider would be a lovely motor to have!

I haven't seen the Spider, but the coupe looked nice at the Melbourne Show - apart from the front intakes which look really cheap.

Out of curiosity, on what basis was this formed?
