I am looking at this 1990 SAAB 900 Turbo S 16v

It sold at Auction in July for iro £5500 inc charges

One of the previous MOTs (2008) noted the underside as "very rusty", later MOT failures are on minor issues and there is no mention of the rust.

Any advice (or point me in the direction of a better proposition?!) on 2 door 900 Turbos please?

You`ll get a lot of advice over on UKsaabs - http://www.uksaabs.co.uk/UKS/ including where to look for the dreaded rust. I`d want to spend time with it up on a ramp & have a good look for that money. It could be a lovely car.
