Anyone?

I have tried a few companies and guess what, they don't know what a noble is and won't touch it ...

my dealer, Christopher Neil, told me when I bought the car that an extended warranty would be available. Have you tried the dealer network - I guess they will be the best bet.

Someone's used Warranty Holdings (search this forum), but if buying from a dealer they should offer one and be able to tell you who the underwriter is. Maybe contact a dealer?

I put one of our owners in touch with our dealer Stephen Kerridge of Kerridges yesterday. He can offer extended warranties for Nobles for as long as you want. His number is 01449 720 222.

And, no, you don't need to have bought your car from him.

Thanks Simon,

They quoted me 750ukp for the year ... , also better than a certain dealer who offered me the same warranty, underwritten by the same people for 895ukp!

Got my extended warranty through my dealer (MV) -cost about a grand for 2 yr extension with Warranty Holdings. In the other thread I believe they replaced burned out/broken turbo with no fuss, but I would be delighted if I never have to use them

Just received some good news from Warranty Works (www.warrantyworks.co.uk ) who i contacted a couple of weeks ago regarding the possibility of adding Noble to the list of cars they cover. They have agreed to do this and within the next couple of weeks you will be able to get an online quote which im sure many owners will be happy to hear!

Noble now added to the Warranty Works website and a 3 year top of the range Platinum policy comes out to £1057.88, excellent value if you ask me!

Message me for a further 5% discount

That looks fantastic. I guess there is no way of knowing just how good they are. I have a Kerridges 12 month warranty starting in 2 months (at the end of manufacters one) AND HAVE ASKED IF i COULD PAY THE DIFFERENCE TO "UP" IT TO THE 3 YR pLATINUM ONE.

(Caps lock off!! sorry)

It sounds a little vague in the T&C's as to whether you can transfer to warranty to a new owner. Would be great to sell privatly with a year or more warranty remaining!!

Nice one adparker!

Taken from the Q&A section on Warranty Works site....

Q Is the warranty transferable?
A Yes if the underwriters agree the warranty can be transferred to the new owner of the car. (There is a small admin charge for this)

What if the Underwriters decide not to agree??

How do you get the extra 5%? I can't see Noble in the drop down menu? Do I need to call up for a quote?

Very pleased you found this mate!

Had the same problem but if you refresh the web page it should appear. I've sent you a message re the 5% discount

Not sure why the underwriters would refuse to transfer to a new owner, it seems pretty normal practise on these type of warrantys. Worth checking to make sure they will though

Does this warranty exclude track day usage?

Looking at the faq, it doesn't appear to :

vi. Any vehicle used for hire or reward. Any vehicles used in any sort of competition, rallying, racing or any vehicles owned by a garage / motor trader or its associated companies engaged in the motor trade.

About to go for the warrantyworks 3 yr deal. Does anyone have anything else to add before I do?

It does look very good in the cover and exclusions bits. Looks like they cover trackdays. (or at least don't NOT cover them)

Are these things worth the money?

The limit is £2500, is this per claim or per year? THe owners is only responsible for the first £25 which is very good!!!

Say the engine let go and cost £4000 to repair, would they put £2475.00 towards the cost and the rest would be down to you?

Time to renew mine again:

APS (originally sold by MV) =£ 350 but excludes pretty much everything, but in the case of a big problem there is no upper limit.

Warranty works looks pretty good for almost everything provided you don't have a big blow up >£2500. £850

Anybody know how the Kerridges one for £ 750 compares in terms of coverage ?

Anybody else come up with a better price/coverage ?
Thanks,
Rob.
