Ignition yellow fuse thing

My S3 this morning was cutting out on start up and while checking wires etc found this connected to the ignition barrel, the yellow fuse holder has broken down and got hot. Anyone know where I can get a correct replacement holder ? Many thanks in advance.

I recommend you simply eliminate the connector and splice the corresponding wires together directly. The connector is notoriously problematic and serves no useful purpose.

yes...don't get a replacement as this is the infamous yellow connector of ill repute.

just sort out a better connection ... or some have just soldered the joint or even chocolate box connectors

Andy, you're a Fruit & Nut case

It's actually "choc block" connectors.
However, a proper soldered splice is better. Slide some shrink sleeving up the wire before you solder it, better and neater than wrapping it with tape.

They are the ones....obviously I got the appropriately higher amp rating ones....

....but I dont think my colleagues agree....
