Hi all,

I need the seals both sides of the body on my car replaced, does any one no the labour cost I will have to pay, the seals that need replacing are the strip when you open the door of the car and it runs from the kidney bowl panel to the panel what holds the car door, I believe the seals are welded on. just seeing if anyone has had there done and price paid.

Many Thanks

I think you may mean the sill panels ?

You may find once they are cut off their could be other rust issues to resolve.

Hi Jeff

Yes seal panels, its what the bottom of the door sits on when closed, is the area non as a rust spot. just trying to find out a price to replace both sides.

And what Jeff is saying is that the bubbling evident around the seam that runs perpendicular to the sill is always a pointer to rust in the kidney bowls. Once you cut the sill off, you'll expose that and will have to repair that before you have new sills fitted. So be prepared for a larger bill then you may have expected.
