I recon it would probably be one of those homely type pubs with loads of posters of supercars on the walls and old competition wheels everywhere. And maybe the odd pair of racing gloves proped up on a shelf somewhere next to a race helmet.

It would probably be near some tasty roads with lots of tasty machinery parked outside.

Take me there!

Given the prevailing view here WRT drinking and driving, where would be the point in a pub with a car park, taxi rank would be more useful (MacLaren SLR hackney cabs anyone?)

I don't really go to a country pub for drink-I go for the food.

Actually, I reckon it'd have a big jukebox full of those 'Drivetime' compilations.

Also-

-Doorhandles made of old bumpers
-Beer taps from old handbrakes
-Pictures of racing driver and prints of cars all over the walls
-Guest beer with names like 'Gas Guzzler', 'Ted's Sump Oil' and 'Skid Mark'
-Cocktail list to include Nitro, TVR and Flaming Lamborghini
-Segregated car park along the lines of the classified ads
-Monty Python-style Argument centre, for Me v Rob_F, Lois v Jaglover, Bruciebabie v Everyone etc - moderators to keep it clean
-A sign on the door: 'No numpties, no lentilists, no chavs'
-Love Machine would be the guy in the corner with his head in a book, Gazboy wouldn't let anyone else near the jukebox, Plotloss would be downing pints of antifreeze and calling everyone a lightweight, and EmmaP and Judas would be the ones Ted says 'the usual?' to quite a lot

I thought it was just me who'd noticed the angst-ridden segment. Perhaps we could include some Joy Division and Radiohead CDs in the jukebox

Free PS2 with racing seats, steering wheels and peddles set up for multiplayer GT4 at the 'ring?

Motor racing videos constantly playing?

Racing and motoring ephemera all around?

Huge Scalectrix track in the middle?

A Jukebox with sounds of engines?

Access to the Internet to sort out bar room arguments?

Oh, and plenty of real ale and food....

Did anyone visit the Rover pub at Swindon? Or the F1 themed restaurant nr. Windsor Great Park (closed a few years now.... )

Fun wheels themed restaurant in Orlando I seem to remember.....

And of course, the Ace Cafe!!

The jukebox would have to be huge.

But at least Dark Side of the Moon would be in there.
