Getting your moles checked
Discussion
I have always had quite a few, (a family trait) and my sister and mum are often on at me to get them properly checked. I did see my doctor but he said to keep and eye on them and come in if any change. But, my sister went to see a 'skin doctor' (dammit, forgot the correct term) who checked them all in detail and removed one or two just in case. Have any of you done this?
I've got one on the side of my head that I've never noticed before, but it could have been due to the fact I had my hair cut shorter than normal for the first time in years.
Popped down, first doctor had a look and was a little concerned as it was two colours and different to the others on my body (wasn't expecting to have to take my top off in front of her).
Saw the second one who is more experienced and he was fine about it. Said it may grow over the next 10/20 years in which case to come back and they'll look at taking it off. But to just keep an eye on it and check for changes.
