Hi, peculiar tipical Griffith mistery here LOL...

Griffith 500 96' model, alu radiator plus twin fans, the engine won't start when it's hot and the fans go on when I switch on the key, it's not the voltage which is plenty, the battery is fully loaded but, still, when the fans go on the engine won't start, like if something didn't send the electricity to the start motor, I don't think it's a matter of engine being hot, it apprears to be an issue caused by the fans.

The starter motor is new and working but only when the fans don't engage at the start.

How come?

Thanks a lot.

Try unplugging the fans. The white connector by the top of the rad. Then try starting it. That will tell you if it's the draw taken by the fans that prevents it form starting.

Had the same issue. In my case fans were drawing so much that it wouldn't start.
Solved with the hot-start modification.
