Campagnolo Chorus mechanical vs Ultegra Di2

Which would you choose if you had the choice? Does anyone have experience of both?
From what I can gather Chorus is quite possibly the best ever all round mechanical groupset. Di2 is regarded as amazing.
Also is anyone aware of what race bikes are supplied with Chorus EPS? Not many bikes seem to have it.

I'd assume "race" bikes, meaning pro tour etc, would use super record eps rather than a lower spec group set. Personally I'd go with di2 or etap over eps based on reviews. I tried di2 on a cannondale super six and it was fascinating, amazing and reliable. I can't see why you would go for high end mechanical over electronic these days.
No idea about ESP but I have Di2 Ultegra, never needs tweaking and performs flawlessly (damaged mech hanger aside), I did almost go with Dura Ace mechanical but after asking those on here with Di2 went with that. Ultegra works for me, alsoheard good stuff about the wireless stamp system.

that's becuase not many bikes come specc'd with campag - unfortunately! I use super record mechanical on my Wilier and love it. I used to have chorus, but fancied some extra bling, so went the whole hog! I also run athena on my cross bike... the feel between all 11speed campag grupsets is the same. gear changes are snappy and positive, changing with a clunk rather than the smooth shimano feel. personally i like it and have never liked the ultegra bikes i've hired in the Canaries. but then of course, i'm used to campag, so expect my gear changes to be positive. but whatever you choose you'd get used to and love, I'm sure. As to the electronic vs mechanical argument, well that's up to you. DI2/EPS is amazing, but I just know that if I had EPS, i'd forget to charge it up and get stuck whilst out. Remember with chorus and above, you have the ability to change up 3 sprockets and down up to 5 with one push of the lever even on a mechanical set up. makes a sudden steep climb less of a problem, and similarly, when cresting, you can instantly be in a bigger gear in half the time of a mechanical shimano... I've got a mix of 2014/15 Chorus 11 on my Master, I love it.
Mechanically Chorus is the same as Super Record, SR just has a few more ti bits and some extra detailing to make the group set slightly lighter, only 200g or so iirc.
For Campagnolo it's the best balance between performance and price, it also has a more subtle look than SR if that's your thing.
My next purchase (40th in a few years) is going to be the latest from Colnago or a Pegoretti, it'll be kitted out with Chorus and the savings over SR put towards some Bora 35 tubs

I have Chorus mechanical and SR EPS, can't speak for Di2.
Chorus mech is brilliant, never misses a beat, but would ride EPS everyday of the week, which I imagine would mean Di2 also. Sadly I have ridden along on the Chrous wondering why the front mech isn't auto adjusting.... I got so used to EPS
edit: as per above I actually have an Ultegra Di2 kit for sale which I took off a frame, shifters/mechs/battery/brain, no cranks or brakes, brand new

Chorus to Ultegra Di2 is a pretty direct price comparison and has always traditionally been the offering directly comparable i.e. Chorus to Ultegra.
Record to Dura Ace and Super Record above that.
Chorus to Ultegra mechanical is a no brainer, Chorus everytime, although Potenza is more inline with 6800 groupset prices.
Can't see an issue tbh.

Just because they price them how they do it doesn't mean that is the reality of the situation, to be honest.Record to Dura Ace and Super Record above that.

This. Shimano for the mountain bike and fly fishing. Mechanically Chorus is the same as Super Record, SR just has a few more ti bits and some extra detailing to make the group set slightly lighter, only 200g or so iirc.

Well that sounds a little harsh and condescending! I have no experience of either and could do with the knowledge and wisdom of experienced cyclists such as yourself! 
It's a genuine question as Chorus strikes me as better in terms of materials, design and quality. Di2 is electric and after replacing all the inners and outers on my mountain bike recently I can understand the appeal.
I also ask as I'm thinking of buying myself another road bike in the near future, hoping to do some 4th Cat racing on it and maybe some time trials. I'm currently looking at the Rose X Lite CRS.
The planned bike is also a present to myself after a very, very hard year of work
