These have managed to grow on me quite a lot.

Nice that you've gone a bit different with colour it looks great, better for not having aero kit too.

isn't road tax a killer in NI for these sort of cars?

Northern Ireland is still part of the UK as far as I'm aware.

Are you thinking of Republic of Ireland?

We got 8% off list price. There is around 10% on the table at UK mainland dealers so when the dealer initially said 4% we said we'd sort one out on the mainland, so then he came back at 8%. We also got £2000 more than WBAC were offering for the 370Z and on the day he gave us the Garmin Map Pilot card, for which Mercedes charge £550 for on the options list.

All in all i think list price was around £45,500 minus the discount.

Cracking choice. I think I'd regret not going for the aero garb though.

Cracking car. Solid choice not going for the Aero kit as well.

It looks great in red, and I think the colour lends enough visual impact not to need the aero kit.

Wasn't even aware you could get it without the garish aero.

I'm all for adding drama and making an event of a car but personally think that looks much better without the kit. Looks lovely especially in red.

They're not too bad in RoI either, at €570pa I think, due to be fairly low on the CO2 emissions (all cars post July 2008). Vehicle Reg Tax (aka import duty) on the new purchase price is more an issue, and why you don't see too many here
