Hi all

After almost a 5 year absence, it feels great to be back in a "Special Wedge" at last. Looking forward to getting some polish onto her over the winter and I will also have to work on my "noise abatement procedure" for my elderly neighbours downstairs. Already been reports of pictures coming off the walls etc.......... Lloyd (Aberdeen)

Hi

Cheers for the comments. Yes I had my eye on this "beast" for a few years and just so happened to be in the right place at the right time with a little help from the bank........Usually when I buy classic cars I need to travel over 500 miles on a few occasions to find the right one, however, for the 1st time ever this car was in my home town, in fact stored within walking distance from my house.

Previously owned and cared for by Hamish (fastidious owner for 6 years)-he has kindly left me with no jobs to do apart from polishing it-can't complain....... The super fresh/strong 5 Litre Griffith engine fitted goes like "stink" and the torque is "out of this world"-a real "super car" with an amazing sound track. I personally can not think of a car for under £10K that could even come close in terms of a true classic with the performance to go with it and the added bonus of being able to repair things if they go wrong, without using multiple credit cards ??

Looking forward to doing a lot of touring next year and hopefully catch up at some of the shows, both in Scotland and England.

Cheers

Lloyd

I tried unsuccessfully to keep up with it at Invergordon round the black isle during last years "rusty nail run" it truly does go lkke the clappers.
Here's the video with me trying to keep up.

Hope that works.

Bloody hell what is happening over there.
An SEAC in the garden or a storm trooper nearby your house.

And

" I personally can not think of a car for under £10K that could even come close in terms of a true classic with the performance".

Is this why you vote for BREXIT ???
