"Clean eating" is not the same as "healthy eating".

Perhaps I should have just googled the question and not ask on here.
To answer your original question - to me, herbs/spices etc. are perfectly OK as part of any diet, healthy, clean or otherwise. I make one or two curries a week and use lots of both. Since the beginning of the year, I've lost an average of a kilo a month in weight and yesterday my fitness level was assessed at twice what it was two months ago.
