Could have your old ones welded (and plated if really bad)?

I'll get em off if I can without doing bolts, I presume loads of penetrating oil first?

Hi - I have a set - passenger side is totally knackered - I cut it off ! The driver side is better but from memory it might be holed near the down pipe joint. However if you want them they are free if you pay the postage.

Loads of penetrating oil/ heat/ more penetrating oil etc etc. Try loosen it up a bit say quarter of a turn and then tighten up again - it breaks the rust holding the studs. I got 8 off reasonably easily, 3 were very tight, and the last one I broke despite cutting the manifold to get a proper socket on it !

Managed to tap it out again OK but it took nearly 2 hours to do it properly. I cleaned all the others out at the same time and plan on using brass bolts to fit the new one.
