Oil - approx 100 quid with the VAT
Filter - approx 20 quid with the VAT
Labour - 1hr

How much were you expecting it to be?

How much do you expect?

Bearing in mind another's poster on a different thread just paid £85,000 for his Macan the service cost you mentioned seems almost reasonable hehe

About 500% mark-up.

An hour's labour - if you put the new oil in with an eye dropper.

So let me just get this right......

You bought a Porsche....

and now you are moaning about high cost of servicing at the dealers?

No - he knows the cost of a service, he's moaning about the high cost of an additional oil and filter change.

Just because you buy the car doesn't mean you have to accept this and if you look through this forum you'll find many people who have been overquoted for work by OPCs and negotiated better deals, either with an OPC or elsewhere.

If everyone just forks out as they demand, it will get worse.

Thanks Pete.g

Perfectly stated.

Agree totally, Porsche tax is a piss take sometimes but not 'always'. I'm more than happy to pay 'reasonable' prices including the Porsche tax. Earlier this year i paid for a major service, brake fluid change, 2 years warranty & porsche asisst as the prices were what i considered reasonable for my 997.1tt

I bought the Macan from an OPC down south and as it hadn't had an oil/filter change (only 12 months old and 9k) the least I wanted to do after collection was an oil/filter change as i do with all my cars on a 12 month basis no matter if its needed or not.

I was just suprised at the £350 quote hence my original question

Anyway its been done at my local OPC, FOC courtesy of the OPC from whom it was purchased.
