Have I been Scammed on Wowcher?

Bought a trip for 2 to the German Christmas market in Cologne using wowcher. Checked the fine print, and everything was OK. Phoned the agent last night to sort it, asked for the codes but not our names. He then tried to get us to pay £72 for "better" flights from an airport which we did not pick, as the one on the advert was "unavailable", then the hotel advertised was also unavailable, but we could have a worse hotel for the same money or an equally rated one for more. Said we were not paying that, got put through to a manager, who was the same person, who then told us the same thing, told him we would cancel the wowcher, he then put us through to another "manager" who was the same person again, who said that he would get his manager to call us with regards to cancelling, unless we changed to another week (not an option) or went to Berlin (if I wanted to go to Berlin I would have booked it!). They were unable to offer the advertised location, date and flights.

Put a cancellation request through wowcher immedietly, however I've logged on today and the agent has redeemed our codes. Still to hear from Wowcher, I know this is not their fault, but I feel like the agent has done a runner with our £280. What does PH think?

Went to look at wowcher website to see what it's all about and it failed my first criteria, the inability to access the site without having to subscribe first.
