Hi all,
was in London today and saw this fabulas Aston waiting at traffic lights at Manor House Tube station at lunch time.
Unfortunatly the tramp (who was begging for money) got there first!
Needless to say the driver made a supurb sounding get away when the lights went green

The British tramp; "You should pay more tax mate".

The American tramp; "One day I will have an Aston Martin".

I hope Jeremy does not use your photograph for his Christmas cards, that is if he sends any.

Someone has a lot of guts to drive a multi-million Zagato surrounded by large trucks, vans and buses.

Stuck in massive traffic is not my definition of 'driving'; that's the def of commuting.

The ironic thing is that most of the people who can afford such cars appear to work in central London and live nearby. Having spent the last few days lurking around North London and noting the horrific abundance of speed humps, even on main roads, the 24/7 congestion and the dog-eat-dog (or should that be rat-eat-rat?) attitude of pretty much every road user, I can't imagine any environment that would make me feel less inclined to drive anything that I cared about.

I quite enjoy driving a car and completing journeys, without having seen any others the same.
In two cases my vehicles are low production, and my 'workhorse' car has now joined the rarity group, because the 900,000 others have gone to scrap yards. I wonder if the owners became bored with them, when there were so many on the roads.

However, in my South East commuter town, I have now noticed that there are three Vantages, just in my road.

In central London, it is great to see a few classic cars, which perhaps are in regular use. The DB4 Zagato is providing pleasure to all who see it.

I agree there are plenty of lovely cars in London, I just found myself depressed by the thought of having to live every day with the prospect of roads so congested, with so many speed humps and pretty much every other road user seemingly at war with you. That's why I said it's ironic ... ironic to see such beautiful cars in such depressing surroundings.

Yes, I would not want to drive a treasured car of mine in Central London, but I have enjoyed the (London) Dartford Tunnel in my Aston at 6am on a Sunday morning.
1st gear might be the ideal, but I used 2nd. Are they really road legal? - smile

I had my V12V in central London 2 years ago for 6 months; I used it 3 times as there is very little fun driving around all that traffic. Fair play to the Zag owner.
