Since I bought my Q7 I haven't bothered to update the sat nav, did a quick google and it appears you can't update the 3G High sat nav with a disc or SD card and i need to have it done by Audi for £230 (price quoted by dealer) is this correct?
Offically yes as the maps are copy protected and have to be coded to the car. However if you are handy with VCDS they are freely downloadable and can be made to work. A5OC forums are a good place to look, or there was another place mentioned on here a few months ago.
Thanks for that, I'll put as few feelers out locally to see if anyone can do it for me, failing that it's booked in for mot/brake fluid change so I'll just get Audi to do it!.
