Christmas shopping trip with the wife in a few weeks.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for somewhere for lunch fairly near Harrods?(short tube ride away is fine).

Ideally the wife would like Italian but anything else is fine other than Indian or Chinese (love those but not for lunch). Well known places / chef's who do decent set lunch menus would also be good.

Budget of around £100 - £150 with a bottle of wine.

Thanks

Bit route one I know, but Dinner by Heston is in Knightsbridge isn't it? Would tick the famous chef box...

Thanks I've looked at that. Don't fancy my chances of getting a table on a Saturday close to Christmas though!

Can't go wrong at Zuma. For Italian, I used to like Sal e Pepe just behind Harrods on Pavilion Road. Good fun old school Italian. Food sometime excellent and sometimes not.

We went to Sal e Pepe last time which was very good and really friendly.

The problem with London is that there's almost too much choice.

Try Kitty Fisher's in Shepherd's Market. Great for lunch, lovely food, great cocktails and really friendly. Highly recommended.
