Strange one this, got home to check out Autocar (subscriber) and noticed an advert for a TVR dealer.

Sales Manager - OTE £60k
Sales Exec - OTE £60k
Sales receptionist - £20k

Based at the Hogarth roundabout (Chiswick) for opening in April 2005.....

And the address to apply is TVR, Bristol Ave, Blackpool.

Its a direct dealer.....!!!!

Interesting change in track.

Edited to make sense....

No change of track. This has been on the cards since Nicolai took over - just delayed with the logistics of getting premesis etc etc I understand.

There will be more

The Peugeot dealer is on Chiswick Roundabout not Hogarth Roundabout. That's further towards Hammersmith where the 316 joins the A4, used to be known as Cherry Blossom Roundabout until their factory was demolished! There's also an old Bristol service centre there. Rich...

Funny, I know someone who has an invite to the launch party - not that that proves anything either.

The Hogarth roundabout is the one with the rickety flyover, where the A316 joins the A4 by the Fullers brewery.

There is an existing 10 year old or so shiny industrial set of buildings nestling between the A316 and the A4.

Have just clicked where it is likley to be - diagonally opposite the Fullers Brewery on the main A4 dual carriageway coming into London there is a new VERY HIGH PROFILE buiding going up and just about finsished, lots of glass and two storey - super high visibility location, about half a mile after the Porsche AFN dealership - that should make for some interesting comparsions for those in the market. Can't wait - go past it every day on the way to Hammersmith.

And there's a new building going up as well. I'd already guessed on it being a car dealership. No idea it might be a TVR dealership. I wonder what the Porsche dealership back toward Chiswick will think of it!

Paul from Gatwick TVR said that's exactly where it is. I think it's a good move to raise their profile in London. If they get it right then all the dealers should see increased interest in TVRs.

Or all the dealers will see their franchises taken over by the factory like Toyota have done!
