London to Brighton - best place to view

Thought I might get out of bed and go and watch somewhere along the route, possibly near cuckfield.

Never been before so any advice on good places to view or best time to see a decent number of entrants gratefully received.

ETA: to anyone else who is watching the live stream - what utter rubbish, I can't see or hear a thing.

Lots of cars stop at Staplefield for lunch and there are always loads of classics there as well.

There is a hill a bit south of Staplefield, hills are always entertaining with the vets as many can't make it - Hammer Hill, B2114/B2115, closed northbound.

No one could. I tried from 6:30 until 10:30 and it was an utter disaster.

Blimey, that's no good. Especially when I'd received at least two e-mails from them in advance touting the 'live' feed.
