Throttle cable position on throttle pots?
Discussion
Anyone have a picture of where on the semi-circular throttle pot cable arm connector that the end of the throttle cable should sit?
I have looped mine around to the 'start' of the 'channel' on the semi circular connector, but at that position the engine starts revving continuously so I'm guessing it rests further down the 'channel'
A picture of the bit I'm talking about for reference
Thanks guys!

The cable nipple should sit a few mm down and not flush or sitting proud, it looks ok from wot i can make out. you should be able to pull a little slack in inner cable with finger if its set right on outer cable adjuster or if fitted correct on pedalbox. worth allso checking tickover adjust screw if have fitted new cable.
I think I might have solved my own problem
I found this pre-starter change photo on my phone and it seems to show that the throttle cable end fits all the way down the channel of the throttle pot connector, and then the top of the throttle pot connector is 'pinched together' to stop the top of the cable being able in anyway to pop lose
If anyone else can confirm would be much appreciated
