Kinks back together for Glastonbury?

On the radio that they're getting back together and may well be at Glastonbury next year. Let's hope Dave is feeling better than he was.

Absolutely, saw Ray at the Hopfarm a couple of years ago, be good to have Dave back and see the whole band. I guess they won't only be playing Glasto.

Saw Ray at the Brecon Jazz festival last summer and it was brilliant show in a really small venue. Not sure the voice is up to a big open air gig though at 74. Took him a few songs to get going and during the first song I thought it might have been a bad idea.

Hope it goes ok if they do it as the back catalogue has some great stuff in it.

I hope it is true. Ray played Glastonbury in 2010 in the oldies segment, so maybe they would perform on the Other or Park stage in a night time slot. Hopefully Dave Davies health will be good enough, not to mention their personal relations.

I read the rather gorgeous Viv Albertine's (From The Slits) bio recently, she grew up in Muswell Hill, the same part of town as The Kinks.

She was saying what an absolute lunatic Dave used to be.
