Removing rear seats maserati granturismo

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has removed the rear seat in a MC shift granturismo ?

Is their a rear firewall ?

I believe there is a firewall. But am not 100% and I can't think why you'd want to do it.

Weight saving I can understand, but the GT is a big (huge) car and you'll never make it a lithe nimble sportscar. Meanwhile you'd be crippling the thing it's best at - being able to carry 4 people while being good fun to hustle.

I'd post in the Maser forum or on sportsmaserati for more in depth help.

Hi murph, thanks for the reply, I had forgotten about sport Maserati.

Actually its not about weigh etc etc its about trying to fit a dog cage in the back !!

Looks like there is a rear bulkhead so probably only get the same space as in the back of a stradale, need to have a measure up.
