Been to Spa for GP about 10 times in last 18 years. What do you want to know ?
We usually stay at the Les Combes campsite which always has space - not necessary to book in advance. They make you buy a camping ticket and a parking ticket - about 10€ each. You also have to buy your entrance tickets at the same time. This is good as the queue on Sunday morning is huge. We get the general entrance tickets (Bronze) and they are 120€ this year. If you want grandstand tickets book in advance - see website.

Make sure you have everything with you as driving to shops is not easy from this campsite. There is usually a tented bar on site. This is a pretty rough site but good atmosphere - think Camping Bleu at Le Mans.

It used to be possible to do laps on the Monday morning after the race, but this has become harder and harder. I've not been for 2 years and there was talk of the circuit being permanent, thus probably making it impossible now.

It is possible to pick-up the local TV and if you're near enough to the pits the timing screens, though they are hard to read on a 2" screen ! The circuit commentary cycles round Flemish, French and English and is also broadcast on FM.

You can always get on the track after the race, but only when the Gendarmes allow. Get down to the pits and watch the lads pack up.

It usually rains at some point over the weekend and is always cold at night.

It's a bloody marvellous track and for me in Kent is easier to get to than Silverstone.

Highlights we've seen:
Prost catching Senna in the rain
Schu's first race
Schu's first win
Damon's Jordan win
Nigel crashing
Johnny spinning
The Hakkinen/Schu pass of Zonta (right in front of us)

We went a few years ago. Its a very diffrent atmosphere to the British GP. My abiding memory is that wherever you looked there was a mulleted german pissing against a tree - some off them were so drunk they slept through the race. We saw some guys stationed just before the bus stop who brought with them a sofa, fridge, full size TV and a generator to run it all.
