"Auxiliary Battery Malfunction"
Discussion
Had this message come up on my '13 E250CDi recently, as it clonked itself back to life after the stop-start kicked in at a junction.
Took it to the dealer for diagnosis, and sure enough they agreed that the auxiliary battery had an issue (uncanny).
They also advised that the battery is on back-order with no ETA yet, which makes me wonder how many other people are suffering from the same problem?
Service chap assured me that it's fine to drive with the issue - and it mostly is - albeit I have to turn off the stop-start at the start of every trip, and it's hit-and-miss whether the brake hold feature is available or not.
Anyone else suffering the same issue? I guess the change in temperatures does weak batteries no favours.

Used to change a lot of them for relating to start / stop not working and that was a few years back when I worked for Mercedes. It's only a small battery, designed to run aux components whilst the engines shut off during the start / stop down time IIRC. If it's out of warranty you could always source another battery elsewhere.Took it to the dealer for diagnosis, and sure enough they agreed that the auxiliary battery had an issue (uncanny).
