Is the supercharged CL55 AMG worth the hefty premium over its NA namesake?

Is it a case that the earlier NA's were not galvanised but the later SC ones were?

Any other reasons for the price difference?

I went through a similar process when looking at SLs.
I'm glad I was persuaded by people on here to go for the 55.

The reasoning was that (apart from the lower capacity models) the issues that the SL is prone to are common to the 500 and the 55 AMG. So a 500 could cost as much on repairs as the 55. So may as well go for the Daddy.

Thanks. I meant more the difference between the 55 versions rather than the difference between the 500 and the 55. Anyone?
