Trackers etc for classics

I'm looking for suggestions of good devices to fit to a classic vehicle for security. A tracking device would be ideal but I don't know what they are physically like.
It needs to be very discreet as the car may be entered in concours events at some stage.

Any experiences welcome.

I use Skytag trackers on all of my classics, and fit them for others too.
They sell for £175 fitted, and you can tailor the level of tracking to suit your needs

I use Automatics MTrack - http://www.trackersecurity.co.uk

These are wireless trackers so you can put them anywhere on the car. They use a re-chargable battery, ours lasted approx 2 years before it required recharging. They are good friendly bunch to deal with.

Not cheap at £200 and £50 a year though.

Compared to the price I paid to fit a tracker to a CLK 10 years ago, that is cheap. On top of the installation cost was the ongoing cost of 'airtime' to keep the device activated. Once inside a steel container, they don't [obviously] work anyway.

With high value irreplaceable vehicles the answer lies in not leaving them in vulnerable locations overnight.

There is a lot to be said for driving some thing of low value on a daily basis, that is unlikely to attract expert thieves.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks. I've got some research to do.

I have Trackstar fitted to a modern car and the service is excellent and I can't fault them reliability wise. I just don't know how big the gubbins is that they fit to the car.
