Does anybody know, exactly, what this actually does to the car?

I imagine that on the F1 box cars it will speed up the gear changes, but what does it do on a manual?Stiffen the suspension?

Does anybody bother using it / or leave it on all the time.

cheers

Definitley changes the F1 gearbox mode for quicker changes. The suspension stiffens and changes and it also allows you to lose a bit of traction, a few percent. Haven't got the handbook with me at the mo but it explains it all in there.

I leave mine on all the time until I come to a bumpy road.

Oh, and it needs to be switched on to do launch controls
