Ummmm.....

10% off for being Premier customer with same bank.

Thank you....

10% off for have house insurance with them as well.

Don't mind if I do....

Now the best bit.

£300 off for increasing the number of mods on the car. i.e. the new intercooler.

Me: Are you sure.
Them: Why.
Me: How is your maths?
Them: OK.
Me: OK, you say...
Them: Whats the problem.
Me: Nothing, can you just double check the quote.
Them: If you want.
Me: Yes.
Them: It's as I said Sir, £1300 (approx).
Me: With the extra Mod?
Them: Yes, do you want to renew or not Sir?
Me: Yes please, have a good day.

Still far too much, but made my day....

Had a very similar conversation with Liverpool Victoria regarding the mods on my car. They even put the quote in writing for me.... only to renege come the actual renewal date citing 'change of policy'...

So don't be too chuffed yet!!

(actually 1300 quid doesn't sound too bad given what's been done with your car. Still a ridiculous amount of money for sod-all however....)

Nice work UV, just shows what a sham car insurance is.

Do you have a classic policy? I have my 993 on 5k miles a year for 500 quid with agreed value and Porsche club trackdays...they don't care about mods only the value of the car....

I was particularly impressed with the european wide breakdown cover for 34 notes, having said that, thankfully i have not had cause to use it.

oh I was a little out it is actually 539 quid all in.
