If you can afford the car you can surely afford the jungle juice to go in it!

Indeed.

I would be pretty certain that no-one, anywhere, on the entire planet, as ever considered the implications of converting the Ferrari 360 - derived 8 cylinder Maserati unit to LPG.

And quite right too. I know its a thirsty beast, but c'mon. Its super-unleaded only.

Hey Rich, if you are in the investigating process anyway, can you please find out where to buy a hook so I can tow the caravan behind the 355.

You started.....

Do not do it.

I had a guy buy my 430 Maserati off me that had a cool 400 BHP from the back wheels. Blow diff up at donington trackday it was so quick.

Anyway. This guy in Brighton bought my 430 Bi-turbo from me and decided to convert it to LPG. Well he kept e-mailing about problems he was having with the engine. No wonder *£$"^&!!!

The car lost all its power, they are standard @ 250 BHP which when on LPG went to just under 200 BHP. The car idled rough etc. The worst thing you can do to turbo car that has been modified with performance upgrades.

In the end he did not really any money on fuel because it ran crap and was always in the garage for engine repairs....

You don not buy a quick car and then worry about the fuel gauge. Just fill it and enjoy life. You only leave once. Buy a cheaper car for a run about in.

Thanks for the feedback, guys..

Just that when I was buying mine I saw a dealer selling an LPG converted one...

Fair enough.. Just off to see if I can get a refund on the towbar and the roof box:-)

I HATE ANY lpg CONVERTED VEHICLE...........they never run properly, either run ok on gas but not petrol or visa versa.........having had such problems in the past I will not stock them at my garage.
