Hi, been looking at this on TVR parts and wondered if this is the best price or does someone know of a better place to purchase?
Just been researching this and found there are two types of valve. Very similar in appearance but one (J0151) has M10 fine thread on both inlet and outlet. The other (J0148) has M10 fine on the inlet and M12 fine on the outlet.Quite why they should be so markedly different in price I don't know.
TVR Parts looks about the cheapest for J0150 at about £80 and Powers do the J0148 for about £60.
Pleased to find I need the cheaper one. Would be even better to find the exact Ford part number which none of the 'TVR Parts' listings seem to include.

Is "a valve a valve" or do they operate at pressures for different size/weight cars?
Yep different specs for different requirements Twistygit said:
Yeah I was hoping someone knew the origin and a cheaper source.
I didn't realise there were two different types I just seen it on TVR parts and was going to order it, better check which one I need,
TVR Parts sell both.I didn't realise there were two different types I just seen it on TVR parts and was going to order it, better check which one I need,
J0151 has an operating pressure of 35 Bar.
J0148 has an operating pressure of 40 Bar.
