shirts decent quality ones

Im now having to dress a bit smarter for work something i havent done for well pretty much ever. Anyway ive bought my self a nice looking suit and some shirts m&s luxury ones they seem really decent quality wise but im looking for a larger range as i need more than the three ive bought these were the £45 each ones or 3 for 90. Ones so ideas for anything else of equal or better quality really

Had a few from these guys, but the sizing seems different to Next and M&S. Got my usual size in slim fit and it's too big, same size slim fit in Next I feel like the buttons will pop off. Good quality though and I like the collar stiffeners. If you buy once then leave it for a bit they send out some crazy offers, 3 for 55 was available for me this week.

For a similar price point, Charles Tyrwhitt or TM Lewin would be my recommendation.

A bit council maybe, but I quite like the Next Signature range. Not the poshest, but do stay looking good even a year down the line. Shirts are usually around £28-40 each.

+1, and you ay need to stock up on collar stiffeners or make your own out of plastic cards,like credit cards.

TM Lewin often do 4 shirts for £100, also dont skimp on ties, cheap ties look cheap and are a focal point for others when they are talking to you.

Probably easier tobuy only white shirts, which go with any good tie rather than mess around with clashing colours and patterns.

White shirts seem really popular right now, but how the hell do you keep them white? Whites only wash? High temp wash? I had a fairly cheap white shirt that after 3 normal washes was nowhere near white. I only wear a shirt 2-3 times a week, I can't justify a separate wash just for the shirts every week.

I've never heard of them or seen/worn any of their products but I always thought they were crap or a brand that's too expensive for what it is. My sole opinion based on the fact that I'm always getting discount/vouchers from them in any packaging I get from Amazon.

They are brilliant. I travel a lot for work, I've tried them all, from Tesco cheap ones to high street 'luxury ones' and none of them last like CT ones do.

As a poster above said, buy on the bulk offer (I tend to have 6 on the go at once) and replace every 18 months approx.

I like CT, if you've not ordered before then go in store if you can and check sizing. Bear in mind that if not, "extra slim" = normal, "slim" = fat, "classic" = obese.

They're on THAT street in London aren't they, I occasionally use the shaving shop there and have to run in and out with what I want before I get pwned by the assistants. Mail order for me.

Only wash white shirts with other white stuff. Normal wash, half a cup of white vinegar in the conditioner compartment and line dry - keeps them perfect.

The best shirts I've had have been THOMAS Nash from debenhams. theyre really comfortable and seem to last ages.

The multi-buy offers are good and they frequently send out discount codes. The codes can be used in store, and the stores also do a loyalty card when you buy 9 shirts you get the 10th free.

The sizing is vanity sizing, but you can get whatever combination of shirt 'shape', collar size, and sleeve length you want.

The non-iron shirts are pretty good. Not completely non-iron, but need a lot less than normal and stand up well to being packed in a suitcase.

TM Lewin non-iron is a joke, I have two that I washed that have been hung up and ironed (many times!) and still look like a very wrinkly thing. Occasionally get an airing to justify their price when I know I'm not taking a jacket off.

there is no such thing as a non-iron shirt.

non-iron are great however in that (once they have been properly ironed) they tend to stay fresh and wrinkle free all day. CT one's are great IMO, nice generous cut. they are also 100% cotton despite what some assume. far far better than next/M&S etc.

i used to buy 80 quid RL shirts that look great when they first go on but after a few hours of in an out of cars/chairs/planes/trains you look like you have slept in a hedge!

I have 6 Lewins non-iron shirts and yes they need the iron waved over them but its a lot easier than ironing standard shirts, and as you say they remain crease free all day
