I'm with you Tonker, at least on the sentiment. I just don't want to live in a medieval society to see justice done. I think in the UK, it should be hard labour for life. Bare prison cell with only pictures of his victims on the wall to keep him company. No remission.

Has anyone haeard of Prison Warders playing "Gladiator"? That should be encouraged. IIRC correctly, prisoner Robert Maudsley ate the brain of a fellow inmate who was a paedophile. Brilliant stuff.

And adultary can occur when a woman is raped if she cannot prove that she was not consenting. To do that she requires 2 female or 1 male witness to speak in her favour. Can be a tricky one that
Or how about death for blasphemy another tricky one, again the accused often has to be able to prove they did not blaspheme rather than the accuser prove they did.
