Bonnet catch

Hi all,

My bonnet catch has fallen off (97 Chim 400) - it looks like it was just glued to the bonnet! Anyway, just wondering if the same has happened to anyone else, and if so what adhesive they used to stick it back on!

Needs bonding with fibreglass, I filled mine before reattaching it so there was a greater area to bond. Then extra matt & glass over the base as well. You really need to whip the bonnet off - doing it upside down is a lot easier. Make sure you get it in the correct position - there is only so much adjustment on the catch.

Thanks! Any idea where I would get some fibreglass, or what kind of company I could get to do this? I'm afraid I know nothing about working on this kind of thing, so I guess I need to find someone to do it for me, or am I being unnecessarily cautious?
