Offence 13/09, date on letter 15/11.

But i have moved before the 13/09 and not updated the V5 with the new address.

Do I have any rights to appeal this?

Thanks

It was posted to your new address on 15th - yesterday?

So it's been to your old address, where the new occupier has dug your new address out, filled in the form, sent it back, and it's been reissued. Do you know how long that took? No.

The police need to send a notice of intended prosecution to the address of the register keeper that is recorded at DVLA. Seems as you didn't update the address that is where it was sent.
After receiving no reply from you you have been traced to your new address. Nothing to appeal here.

That's annoying.

Isn't there a £1000 fine for not updating your address?
