Mending the DVD/Blu ray player
Discussion
I have a Pioneer DVD/Blu Ray/Surround sound amplifier all in one unit.
After having it in storage for a couple of months between house moves, it began making a terrible racket when I put a DVD into it and often refused to play, or when it did play, it was making that horrible noise.
Result being, very rare DVD watching now, even though we stream a lot of content of course.
I could probably take it to a local DVD repair shop but could this be the kind of job I can tackle on the dining room table with a bit of know how?
My suspicions would be that a small cog, or maybe a drive belt, have slipped out of place?
