Hi all , my caterham seems to have developed a sticky throttle not totally it returns from high revs slower than normal , the problem seems to me to be at the pedal end with the pedal not returning to its normal position , the car is a k series on RBTB , which to me seem OK , any ideas what the problem could be ? Is there a spring on the pedal that may have broke ? Any help most appreciated , cheers

The spring is at the TB end. Check that. Also worth taking the pedal box cover off and having a good look at the pedal end of the cable as they often fray here before snapping - usually when you're in the middle of Europe with no hope
of help or rescue.

A top tip - carry a spare cable with you at all times and the right tools to do a roadside swap. Doesn't cost much but the odds of needing to do this one day are unfortunately high!

It could be the RBTBs are getting sticky. Liberal application of WD40 or the like to the throttle barrel whilst opening and closing may help the problem. If not could be cable on its way out, or the RBTBs need a rebuild.
