Posting this on behalf of a friend of mine who tends to be too busy actually fixing this car to document the build! It's a rather unusual example of a now very rare model, with its manual gearbox and marmite-like Opal green paintwork.

The car is showing 106k and was driven back to the garage where it now resides. Mechanically speaking, it's in great shape but the bodywork is starting to show its age.

The car is now undergoing a sympathetic restoration using genuine BMW parts wherever possible.

It really is a lovely old thing and his absolute obsession, I'll look forward to posting more updates with his progress.

Lovely, and worthy of repair.

I had to sell my E24 a few years ago, and still regret letting it go to this day even if it was the only decision I could make at the time.
