Should I be concerned about this?
Discussion
Got this about 6 weeks back from the wrist brace I got given for 2 weeks
It's not shown signs of going away, itchy at times, anything to be concerned about?
It's on the top of the wrist about the size of a 50p coin.
It's redder in person than the picture, just couldn't get a good pic.
I hate wasting Dr's time so don't go unless necessary, so thought I'd ask here first.

Given the history, it's possible / probable that the rash has a fungal component - the wrist brace may have created the kind of warm and moist environment which allows fungus to thrive and invade skin. Above posters are correct in that mild steroid cream will reduce the inflammation, and this may be enough on its own to allow healing. But I'd be wanting to get some antifungal on it too. You can get Canesten HC cream which contains an antifungal and a mild steroid: apply it (thinly) twice a day for a week and get on to the doc if that doesn't fix it completely.
