Crockery storage in Transit
Discussion
I am looking for best method to store crockery whilst the MH is moving.
I have seen the transport carrier that are used at weddings etc lined bags but these are spendy.
bubble wrap and plastic boxes an idea
any other more experienced owner suggestions ?
all tips/advice welcomed as we are total beginners.

I use actual crockery in my motorhome and we use the cardboard packaging from the original box between each plate when it was new even now.
However, we also use non-slip matting, cut to size, between bowls and other plates and also for the mugs.
I line the bottom of each cupboard with the matting to stop anything placed on it moving about.
It's cheap via eBay and easily cut to size with scissors. I also use it in the food cupboards.

Yes the rattling is annoying...
I was thinking of buying a massive block of foam off Ebay, cutting a square to fit the cupboard and then slots the fit the plates etc in. A bit like a flight case, but without the case. Fiamma sell a thing called an Omni stop, but I don't think it will be any use with some bowls and glasses.

We use this stuff (or something very similar) on the shelves in our motorhome and it works very well.
You could also try using melamine crockery? as it's not likely to break during transit.
