I make no apologies for celebrating the stress busting qualities of Roberto Halford & Co after rediscovering the quite astonishing video for the above.
No need for qualification was really necessary but now not even a savagely dissected electron of doubt exists on any plane of existence, in this life, or the next.
Not only is this the defining metal riff fest for the pre-grunge/80s sell-out moschenti generation but the video itself is edited to spectacular, hilarious, cliche-honouring perfection.
As an audio-visual blast of total rapture, it is unmatched.
I am still quaking with the aftershock; utterly, magnificently sublime!
{Come to think of it, it it the only time that I have been in bed at a moment coincident with several bottles of nasty colonial fizzy water, a tennis raquet and tears of abject, uncontrollable joy.}

Der get yer ears round 'Almost Honest' by our man Mustayne and pals, Megadeth has come of age
Will do, chief - I have immense time for the trademark Mustaine Snarl; tortured vocalism for people who eat V8s for breakfast.
Btw, Thunder - agree on the RJD 'I Speed at Night' thing but 'Stand Up & Shout' represents the ultimate, elfen, blitzkreig assault.

Oh yeah, live it's even better.
However, other RJD gems can't be overlooked - Holy Diver (a song about a WWII dogfight FFS!), Rock 'n' Roll Children (surely the best 'preposterous strutting and ridiculous lyrics' song there is) and Hungry For Heaven (AKA the ITV F1 Theme Tune)

Yes it's brilliant.
My brother has the video somewhere.
IIRC It is interspersed with a kid on it playing the 80s arcade game 'Pole position'.
Another personal favourite of mine in the same vein is 'Wheels of fire' by Manowar.
God knows what car it uses revving up at the start of the trsck but it's pretty bloody meaty whatever it is!
As for dio I prefer the Tenacious D tribute to Dio
Tenacious D said:
Dio has rocked for a long, long time,
Now it's time for him to pass the torch.
He has songs of wildebeests and angels,
He has soared on the wings of a demon.
It's time to pass the torch,
You're too old to rock, no more rockin' for you.
We're takin' you to a home,
But we will sing a song about you.
And we will make sure that you're very well taken care of.
You'll tell us secrets that you've learned. Raow!
Your sauce will mix with ours,
And we'll make a good goulash baby.
Dio, time to go!
You must give your cape and scepter to me.
And a smaller one for KG.
Go! Go! Dio! Dio!

Surely the Dio song is Last in Line? Heavy.
Where's the headbanging smiley?

Best played when doing 33mph in a 30 limit. Yes, even the middle classes can be bad now
