can anyone tell me where i can get a set of exhaust manifold gasgets as i think mine are leaking and making that not so good ticking sound at low revs i live in northampton ,and also where can i get some shocks for the front that dont cost too much as it sits about one inch lower on one side and the shocks are the originals 60k .

Most of the dealers/specilaists stock them. Easier and chepaer than getting them from a Rover garage who will usually try and sell the composite ones. As for shocks, AVos seem to be the cheapest but if the car is slisting you may have tired springs or a suspension fault. Changing the shocks on their own is not going to cure that problem. Budget around £100 a corner for springs and shocks and 200-250 if you want something decent.

thanks for the help steve, i changed the exhaust manifold gaskets what a bugger of a job got a set from Real Steel near uxbridge .so all i need now is a pair of rear springs to sort out the sagging at the rear ,i checked all the bushes and they were ok so it just looks like the springs apart from that she is hot to trot.
