Well, me. The budget has only gone and raised the 1st residential Stamp Duty band to £120k from £60k.

A step in the right direction, but a drop in the ocean really, as the loss of revenue to the treasury will be minimal, given what most property costs in the UK these days... and the middle and upper bands have remained the same.

Really awkward timing for me - currently in the final testing stages of the next release of our SDLT software and the budget goes and moves the ing goalposts! AAAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!
