Reported on BBC 3 Counties radio this morning, there's a national gypsy music festival this weekend in Dunstable with Gypsies coming by the bus load from all over the country. Sounds like a gypsy version of the X factor

Reporter said "police do not anticipate any trouble".

Oh really? punchshootpunch

what do you think?

Gypsies....it's the 99% of rotten ones that give the rest a bad name.

Proper Gypsies (Romany) will probably be OK.

Irish travellers, not so much, unless it's just the 1%

If it's attached to the Light and Life church you might be pleasantly surprised as they're teetotal so much less inclined to cause havoc than the locals...

That was my thinking as well, from what I've seen of the Romany Gypsies they seem to want their nomadic lifestyle without it being detrimental to others. Irish Travellers on the other hand seem to be the compete opposite of that.

Theres a family of travellers moved in upstairs from me.They seem to have a chip on their shoulder thinking everyone hates them?
They really pissed me off when they first moved in as they just let their dogs st all over my garden, and didnt pick it up,told them off about it and eh?was accused of being 'racist' against travellers??wtf?
All went downhill from there.....

Some gypsy jazz guitar is excellent. Django Reinhardt was an early pioneer.

If they are Irish gyspsy female singers they will all have enormous breasts and dress in tight shorts and skimpy outfits.
