Bathurst 2005 - 6 Oct - 9 Oct 2005
Discussion
Just wondering who is interested in going along to Bathurst this year.
Main reason is that it is pretty important to book things early.
One of my mates races in the Historics and this year will be getting a large caravan, and there might be room to fit some people in. Otherwise there are a couple of options in towns outside of Bathurst, but would need to be booked early, if they haven't gone already.
Also could possibly get a deal for flights if there are enough people wanting to go.

I've just booked my holiday in Oz from the 4th to the 17th October. I'll be stopping in the Bathurst area from the 6th to the 10th October (good planning
). The question is, how do I get tickets for the race meeting (I was thinking of me and the missus going on Saturday and Sunday). I haven't been able to find anywhere to pre-book the race tickets on the web, am I too early?

Try Ticket Master mate, www.ticketmaster7.com/
Bathurst tickets not on sale yet but try closer to the event.
Also, although not working at the moment the Official Site www.bathurst1000.com.au/
Regards Rob.

It is a nice drive down from the Gold Coast to Bathurst..
And a very long one at that. Brisbane to Canberra, is about 16 hours, but you can do it in 12 if you want to, mind you have to be careful of the skippy's.
Anyhow, let me know if anyone wants me to organise anything. If you want accomodation in Bathurst can strongly recommend getting that organised now, otherwise you could be up for a 2 hour trip. I'm going to camp out with my mates in the middle of the paddock next to the pits, as Dave is racing his green monster Torana again this year..
