993 owners. How much do you pay for the basic 12,000 mile service? My chap is £310 inc Vat.

Northways
£205+vat for 12k miles on a 993

Unless VAT has gone up recently (a lot!) then i'd say your guy was a little steep.

I'd double that to allow for 'unforeseen eventualities'...

1st service for mine last year was 12k service.

Nothing major untoward except A/C belts replaced, geometry alignment (the measurements showed that all 4 corners were well out) and a few sundry items which all in set me back £700 incl the vodka and tonic.

Hopefully shouldn't be too bad this year except I've got to get the clutch done

Had my car 993tt done last year at the OPC in Kent; Lindbrook. Nice premises and coffee.

Total cost £1600 including the gearbox oil change which they didn't actually do. Alternator replacement which was due to them stripping the thread, although, they actually forgot to put the new one on so the thread is still stripped (although they say the one on the car is the new one that I've stripped!)
Alignment; very important on a 993 - oops, forgot to straighten the front wheels first so the steering wheel is more pissed than before.
I won't mention over filling the oil and leaving the alternator belt so loose that the next day the car filled with smoke and had to be towed from the M25.

Whole operation took 14 days because they were waiting for a single bolt!

They did eventually refund me £250 for their negligence.
